Final Acceptance of Bid No. 178 -36, SP -4043; Police Department Exterior Wall Sealing Project
(FY18).
2. SUMMARY
The City of Orange entered into a contract with Newbuild Construction and Restoration, Inc. for
the application of the exterior wall sealer for the Police Department Exterior Wall Sealing
Project. The work is complete to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department.
The project provided cleaning and sealing of the exterior ceramic tiles of the Police
Headquarters' facility; satisfying the recommendation to provide preventive care of the exterior
every five to seven years to protect the building from the elements.
13. RECOMMENDED ACTION
1) Accept as complete Bid No. 178 -36, SP -4043; Police Department Exterior Wall Sealing
Project (FYI 8).
2) Authorize staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
