2. SUMMARY
The following claim(s) have been received and investigated by the City Attorney's Office
and/or the Risk Manager. After a thorough investigation with the involved departments, it is the
recommendation of the City Attorney's Office that the claim(s) be denied:

c. Foremost Insurance Company a/s /o John Quiroz
d. Barbara Waldowski

Deny claim(s) and refer to City Attorney and Claims Adjuster.

7. DISCUSSION and BACKGROUND
a. Claim for damages from Eileen A Hilburn alleging property damage when City
water main renewal affected her residence water pipes and usage.
b. Claim for damages from So Cal Gas alleging property damage when a gas service line
was damaged while a water line was being installed.
c. Claim for damages from Foremost Insurance Company a/s /o John Quiroz alleging
property damage to insured's vehicle due to uneven road.
d. Claim for damages from Barbara Waldowski alleging property damage to vehicle tires
when they were punctured by street curb.
