Final Acceptance of Bid No. 178-32; D-171, Cambridge Storm Drain Project.
2. SUMMARY
The project included the installation of 670 linear feet of 72-inch reinforced concrete pipe
on Cambridge Street from Maple Avenue to Palm Avenue to eliminate the flooding issues
at the intersection of Cambridge Street and Palm Avenue. Also included in this project
was the reconstruction of asphalt concrete pavement, ADA access ramps, curb and
gutter, sidewalk, and residential driveways.
In addition to the concrete improvements, 1,300 linear feet of 6-inch sewer main was
upsized to 8-inches on Cambridge Street from Maple Avenue to Sycamore Avenue.
Garrett J Gentry Engineering Inc. completed the work to the satisfaction of the Public
Works Department.
3. � RECOMMENDED ACTION
Accept Bid No. 178-32; D-171, Cambridge Storm Drain Project as complete and authorize
staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder

NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND ACCEPTANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that work on that certain public work and improvements known as"The Cambridge
Storm Drain Project(Bid No. 178-32;D-171)"(herein referred to as the"Project"),for the owner,the City of Orange,
a municipal corporation(herein referred to as the "City"), whose address is 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange, CA
92866, was completed and accepted by the City Council of the City of Orange on May 8,2018 at a regular meeting
of its members, at which a quorum was present and acting throughout. The contractor who performed(or caused to
be performed) said public work and improvements was Garrett J Gentry General Engineering Inc., a California
corporation,with its principal office at 1297 West 9�'Street, Suite D,in the City of Upland, State of California.
The name of the surety on the Labor and Material Bond for the Project is Syberus Inc,New Jersey(Agreement No.
05201816)in the amount of$1,064,925.00.
