1. SUBJECT
Final Acceptance of Bid No. 178-29; SP-4045, Annual Pavement Maintenance at Various
Locations, Fiscal Year 2017-2018.
2. SUMMARY
The City of Orange entered into a contract with RJ Noble Company, Inc. to rehabilitate
streets at various locations throughout the City. The work is complete to the satisfaction
of the Public Works Department.
The Pavement Management Plan rated the streets in the "poor to fair" category.
Rehabilitation consisted of grinding and overlaying the roadway, replacement of damaged
sidewalk, replacing curb and gutter, signage and striping, and reconstruction of
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk access ramps at nineteen residential
streets and four arterial streets throughout the City. The project also included the
rehabilitation of EI Camino Real Park and Eisenhower Park parking lots.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION �
Accept as complete Bid No. 178-29; SP-4045, Annual Pavement Maintenance at Various
Locations and authorize staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION AND ACCEPTANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that work on that certain public work and improvements known as"Annual Pavement
Maintenance at Various Locations,Fiscal Year 2017-2018(FY18,(Bid No. 178-29;SP-4045)"(herein referred to as
the"Project"), for the owner, the City of Orange, a municipal corporation(herein referred to as the"City"), whose
address is 300 E. Chapman Avenue,Orange,CA 92866,was completed and accepted by the City Council of the City
of Orange on December 11, 2018 at a regular meeting of its members, at which a quorum was present and acting
throughout. The Project is at Various Locations in the City of Orange, State of California. The contractor who
performed(or caused to be performed)said public work and improvements were RJ Noble Company,Inc.,a California
corporation,with its principal office at 15505 E.Lincoln Avenue,Orange, State of California.
The name of the surety on the Labor and Material Bond for the Project is Western Surety Company (Bond No.
30040016)in the amount of$1,836,745.00.
