III. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Request to retain 48 feet of red curb markings currently painted on the east side of
Lemon St. north of Chapman Ave. adjacent to the Plaza Muffler Shop.

IV. CONSIDERATION ITEMS
1. Request for installation of red curb markings on the south side of Cully Dr.
adjacent to 2283 N. Batavia St.

Oral presentation is based on the written staff report; please refer to your copy. There was no
one in the audience to address this request. The Commission had the following discussion
and motion.
Chairman Beil — The business on the south side where the request to paint the red
curb was it appears to have a driveway on the curb directly in front of the residential
garage but that they actually removed a section of fence and they are accessing the
street over the curb.
Dave Allenbach, Transportation Analyst — They have two driveways here I think
they are using the one close to the property line. Both are gated, they may use one
for ingress and the other one for egress. I'm not sure what kind of business they
have there but since they are gated they can be opened, they can't use this area for
parking. There are 3 spaces here.

Chairman Beil —I think the first one where there is actually a break in the fence there
is no driveway there they are just driving over the curb and the dirt for access there.
Dave Allenbach, Transportation Analyst — I think this area is a rolled curb. We
counted that as a driveway so looking at it now there are 3 parking spaces

2. Request to change the existing 1 -Hour time limit parking zone to a 15- Minute time
limit parking zone in front of 845 W. Grove Ave.

Commissioner Glasgow —15 Minutes is going to hurt him, there is now way you can
go in and do business in 15 minutes and be outside. In a way he is jeopardizing his
own customers to get a ticket if there is an officer sitting there watching them longer
than 15 minutes.
Chairman Bei1 Or the owner could offer to pay overtime for police services to be
assigned there.

After discussion of today's Agenda the City Traffic Commission meeting was
concluded, and as there were no further requests for action under Oral Presentations,
the Chairman adjourned this session of the City Traffic Commission.
