1. SUBJECT
Resolution No. 10924A — A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange Amending a
Letter of Understanding between the City of Orange and the Orange Municipal Employees'
Association Effective July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017.
2. SUMMARY
Resolution No. 10924A amends a Letter of Understanding between the City of Orange and the
Orange Municipal Employees' Association effective July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017 by correcting
a typographical error in the year two raise percentage.
3. RECOMMENDATION
Approve Resolution No. 10924A.
4. FISCAL IMPACT
None to this current item. Fiscal impact was already identified in approval of Resolution 10924.

6. DISCUSSION and BACKGROUND
Resolution No. 10924 was previously adopted by the City Council on February 9, 2016. A
typographical error was identified wherein the second year percentage raise was incorrectly
identified as a 2% raise rather than a 1.5% raise as agreed to by the parties. This amendment
corrects that typographical error.

RESOLUTION NO. 10924A
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE AMENDING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ORANGE AND THE ORANGE
MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION EFFECTIVE JULY 1,
2015 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2017
WHEREAS, the City of Orange, hereinafter referred to as "City," and the Orange
Municipal Employees' Association have met and conferred in accordance with the
requirements of the Meyers - Milias -Brown Act; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Orange Municipal Employees' Association have
previously reached agreement on wages, salaries, and other terms and conditions of
employment effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange has previously approved
Resolution 10924 after consulting with its Chief Negotiator concerning the proposed
employment terms contained in the attached Letter of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, staff became aware of a typographical error in the year two
percentage raise in previously approved Resolution 10924 and now wishes to correct that
error to reflect the true agreement between the parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Orange that the attached Letter of Understanding is approved and incorporated by
reference as Exhibit "A."
