2. SUMMARY
Resolution No. 10923A amends a Letter of Understanding between the City of Orange and the
Orange Management Association effective July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017 by clarifying language
regarding the workshoe allowance

6. DISCUSSION and BACKGROUND
Resolution No. 10923 was previously adopted by the City Council on February 9, 2016. Staff is
amending this resolution to add clarification language to the Workshoe Allowance provision as
follows:
Effective July 1, 2016, the parties agree to amend Article XIX, Section 3 to change the Workshoe
Allowance from a $450 yearly reimbursement to a $450 yearly stipend. For fiscal year 2015-
2016, employees eligible to receive a workshoe allowance will receive the balance of the $450
stipend (less applicable taxes and payroll deductions), less any amounts they have already
received as reimbursements.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING A LETTER OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ORANGE AND THE ORANGE MANAGEMENT
ASSOCIATION EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2015
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2017
WHEREAS, the City of Orange, hereinafter referred to as "City," and the Orange
Management Association have met and conferred in accordance with the requirements of
the Meyers - Milias -Brown Act; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Orange Management Association have previously
reached agreement on wages, salaries, and other terms and conditions of employment
effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange has previously approved
Resolution 10923 after consulting with its Chief Negotiator concerning the proposed
employment terms contained in the attached Letter of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, staff became aware of an issue that required clarifying language in
previously approved Resolution 10923 and now wishes to correct that error to reflect the
true agreement between the parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Orange that the attached amended Letter of Understanding is approved and incorporated
by reference as Exhibit "A."
