The following claim(s) have been received and investigated by the City Attorney's Office
and/or the Risk Manager. After a thorough investigation with the involved departments, it is the
recommendation of the City Attorney's Office that the claim(s) be denied:

7. DISCUSSION and BACKGROUND
a. Claim for damages from Stephanie Garcia alleging personal injury during a traffic
collision with a City vehicle.
b. Claim for damages from CAM IX Trust, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company,
alleging property damage caused by an open bathtub faucet after water service was
turned on.
c. Claim for damages from Manuel Villigan alleging property damage to his vehicle
while backing into a parking space in a parking lot not owned by the City.
d. Claim for damages from Michael Pratt alleging personal injury resulting from a fall
from his wheelchair after rolling over a television cable vault cover.
e. Claim for damages from Mark Delaney alleging his vehicle was wrongfully towed
and impounded after he refused field sobriety testing and hit a police unit.
