2. SUMMARY
The following claim(s) have been received and investigated by the City Attorney's Office
and/or the Risk Manager. After a thorough investigation with the involved departments, it is the
recommendation of the City Attorney's Office that the claim(s) be denied:

b. Sean Laughlin
c. Vance Cleveland Plumbing, Inc.
d. Kenneth Young
e. Mihaela Ileisecu/Ileiescu
f. Jennifer Guild
3. RECOMMENDATION
Deny claim(s) and refer to City Attorney and Claims Adjuster.

7. DISCUSSION and BACKGROUND
a. Claim for damages from Timothy Hutt alleging personal injury when he tripped and
fell on a raised portion of sidewalk.
b. Claim for damages from Sean Laughlin alleging personal injury and loss of his pet
after he failed to pick it up from the Orange County Animal Shelter following an
incident involving the Orange Police Department.
c. Claim for damages from Vance Cleveland Plumbing, Inc. alleging property damage
when a company truck ran over a manhole cover.
d. Claim for damages from Kenneth Young alleging personal injury when he tripped and
fell at a dog park.
e. Claim for damages from Mihaela Ileisecu/ Ileiescu alleging personal injury involving
a vehicle accident which occurred outside of the City of Orange and not involving a
City employee.
f. Claim for damages from Jennifer Guild alleging property damage when her vehicle
was over sprayed by a contractor working near a private parking lot.
