A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO GREGG
TRELOAR OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT AND COMMENDING HIM FOR MORE
THAN FIFTEEN YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED
SERVICE
WHEREAS, Mr. Gregg Treloar began his career with the City of Orange Community
Development Department on January 3, 1999, working as a Combination Building Inspector in
the Building Division; and
WHEREAS, Gregg was the Building Inspector Supervisor from December 2005 until
December 2013; and
WHEREAS, Gregg has always demonstrated the ability to perform complex inspections
at various stages of construction, alteration, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial
sites and to enforce the code and ensure safety standards; and
WHEREAS, Gregg forged strong working relationships with contractors and property
owners and went out of his way to find solutions to complex building issues; and
WHEREAS, Gregg is well liked by his co- workers for his easygoing and friendly
attitude. Gregg always has a smile on his face and is known for going out of his way to help
others in need. He often goes above and beyond to assist residents and customers in the field;
and
WHEREAS, Gregg will enjoy his retirement spending time with his grandchildren
taking long road trips and camping.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Teresa E. Smith, Mayor of the City of Orange, on behalf of the
entire City Council, do hereby express to Mr. Gregg Treloar our genuine appreciation and
gratitude for over 15 years of loyal and dedicated service, and sincerely wish Gregg a happy and
fulfilling retirement.
