DISCUSSION and BACKGROUND In 2009, the City renewed its contract with HdL for Property Tax Consulting/Audit Services. This contract expires on June 30, 2014. During the past years, HdL has provided exceptional service to the City. HdL has agreed to charge a fixed annual fee of $17,130 for the first 3 years of the new contract. The fee will be adjusted in the 4 th year of the contract by the California Consumer Price Index (CCPI). The revised new fee will be applied to the 4 th and 5 th years of the contract. If the contract is extended beyond 5 years, the fee will be adjusted by the CCPI annually. Therefore, staff is recommending their contract for an additional five -year period with an automatic extension from year to year unless a notice of termination is given. The City Attorney's office has reviewed and approved the contract. 8. ATTACHMENTS Agreement for Property Tax Consulting /Audit Services ITEM 6/10/14 Q Printed on Recycled Paper
