The project is the installation of a drainage system within the sidewalk and roadway area of Vista
Ridge Drive at the intersections of Vista Valley Road and Vista Crest Road. The work to be done
includes, but is not limited to the following: trenching /excavation; removal of sidewalk, cross
gutter, curb ramp, and asphalt concrete; installation of 230' of PVC drainage piping and a drain
cleanout; reconstruction of sidewalk, cross gutter, curb ramp, and asphalt concrete in disturbed
areas; and traffic control. The drainage piping is proposed to capture nuisance water that is
constantly keeping the cross gutter wet which is damaging street pavement and requires frequent
maintenance. The proposed drainage system will convey nuisance water from one corner of an
intersection to the other and ultimately empties into an existing City catch basin and storm drain.
All work is within existing street right of way.
