LEGAL NOTICE OF DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
PUBLIC MEETING
MEETING LOCATION: City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange.
Members of the public can also access meetings on Spectrum Cable

SUBJECT: Design Review No. 26-0052, ES Imagine Extraordinary Wall Signs
PROPERTY LOCATION: 216 E. Chapman Avenue | APN: 390-382-04
REQUEST: A request to install two new wall signs, including one illuminated sign on
the front elevation and one non-illuminated sign on the rear elevation, on
an existing building designated as a non-contributor within in the Old
Towne Historic District, located at 216 E. Chapman Avenue (Design
Review No. 26-0052).
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION:
The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines
15301 (Class 1 - Existing Facilities) because the project consists of
adding two new wall signs to an existing commercial property, one 25
square-foot halo-lit wall sign and one 5.3 square-foot non-illuminated
wall sign. There is no environmental public review required for a
Categorical Exemption.

FURTHER INFORMATION: All interested parties may submit comments and may be heard on any
relevant matter relating to the proposed actions by mail, email, voicemail,
or in-person, as set forth in the 10/7/2026, Design Review Committee
agenda to be posted on the City’s website at www.cityoforange.org. To
