PROPERTY LOCATION:1937 and 2011 W. CHAPMAN AVENUE, ORANGE, CA 92868 (APN
039-331-49)
REQUEST:A proposal to operate a new charter school in two existing buildings and
construct two new play areas within an existing parking lot on a property
located at 1937 and 2011 W. Chapman Avenue.
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION:
The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines
15301 (Class 1 – Existing Facilities) because the project involves a
negligible expansion of an existing use, consisting of interior tenant
improvements of two existing buildings, and conversion of two new play
areas from the existing parking lot.

FURTHER INFORMATION:All interested persons may be heard on any relevant matter relating to
the proposed action by attending the public hearing in person; or by

www.cityoforange.org. Agendas are posted online at least 72 hours prior
