LEGAL NOTICE OF DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
PUBLIC MEETING
MEETING LOCATION: City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange.

SUBJECT: DESIGN REVIEW NO. 5156; TOLUCA HOUSE ADDITION
PROPERTY LOCATION: 405 E. Toluca Avenue | APN: 390-103-15
REQUEST: The applicant proposes a 984 square foot addition with 115 square foot
front porch to the existing 480 square foot single-family residence and to
replace the existing 192 square foot garage with a new 400 square foot,
two-car detached garage on a property designated as a non-contributor,
in the Old Towne Historic District located at 405 E. Toluca Avenue.
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION:
The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines
Section 15301 (Class 1 – Existing Facilities), because the project will not
result in an increase of more than 10,000 square feet in an area that is
not environmentally sensitive and where all public services and facilities
are available. There is no environmental public review required for a
Categorical Exemption.
