PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE
FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
(CDBG) AND HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS (HOME) PROGRAMS
THE 2024-25 ACTION PLAN
The City of Orange receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and
HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds annually from the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City is estimated to receive the following
amounts for Fiscal Year 2024-25:
1. CDBG - $982,722
2. HOME - $457,125
30-Day Public Review of the 2024-25 Action Plan
The 2024-25 Action Plan is the fifth Action Plan of the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and
outlines programs and projects that are recommended for CDBG and HOME funding.
Copies of the Draft 2024-25 Action Plan will be available at the following locations for a
30-day public review process from April 4, 2024 to May 6, 2024:
• City Clerk Office – 300 East Chapman Avenue, Orange, CA 92866
• Community Development Department - 300 East Chapman Avenue, Orange, CA

• Public Library (Main Library) - 407 East Chapman Avenue, Orange, CA 92866
• El Modena Branch Library – 380 S. Hewes Street, Orange, CA 92869
• Taft Branch Library – 740 E. Taft Avenue, Orange, CA 92865

CDBG Program Committee Public Meeting
The CDBG Program Committee will hold a public meeting on March 14, 2024, at 6:00
p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, to review and collect public input
on the Fiscal Year 2024-25 CDBG and HOME funding recommendations.
Members of the public can participate and submit comments as set forth in the March 14,
2024 CDBG Program Committee Agenda to be posted on the City’s website at
www.cityoforange.org.
