2000 at 4:30 p,m, in a Regular Meeting in t e Council Chambers, 300 E, Chapman Avenue,

10, 2000 at Or nge Civic Center, Main Library at 101 N. Center Street, Police facility
at 1107 No h Batavia, the Eisenhower Park Bulletin Board,and summarized on
Time-Warn Communications, all of said locations being in the City
of Orange and freely acc ssible to members of the public at least 72 hours before commencement
of said reg lar meeting.ACTION: Accepted

3006 ($31,000 is currently budgeted, bringing t tal to $65,000: $7,000 for design, $
48,000 for construction and contingency, an $10,000 for Public

SUMMARY: Per
recommendations fro the Investment Advisory Committee and the Investment Oversight
Committee, it is pro sed that several changes be made to the City's and Redevelopment Agency'
s Statement of Inv stment Policy, The recommended changes include increasing our
authorized investments in the Local Agency Investment Fund (LAIF) and revising the languagerelatingtoMoneyMarketFndstobeconsistentwiththeStateofCaliforniaGovernmentCode,
Additionally, as a result of having our policy reviewed and certified by the Municipal Treasurers
Association of the Un ted States and Canada, more definitive language was recommended for
annually reviewing fi ancial institutions and investing in Government sponsored investment
