MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING February 26, 2002
4:30 P.M. SESSION
The Orange Redevelopment Agency of the City of Orange, California convened on February 26,
2002 at 4:30 p.m. in a Regular Meeting in the Council Chambers, 300 E. Chapman Avenue,
Orange, California.
1. ROLLCALL
PRESENT - Slater, Alvarez, Chairman Murphy, Coontz, Cavecche ABSENT -

COMMENTS - None.3. CONSENT CALENDAR
3.1 Declaration
of the Clerk of the Orange Redevelopment Agency, Cassandra J.Cathcart, declaring posting
of Orange Redevelopment Agency Agenda of a regular meeting of Fehruary
26, 2002 at Orange Civic Center, Main Library at 101 N.Center Street, Police
facility at 1107 North Batavia, the Eisenhower Park Bulletin Board, and summarized
on Time-Warner Communications, all of said locations being in
the City of Orange and freely accessible to members of the public at least 72 hours before
commencement of said regular meeting.ACTION: Accepted
Declaration of Agency Posting and authorized its retention as a public record
in the Office of the City Clerk.3.2
Request Agency confirmation of warrant registers dated February 7 and 14, 2002.ACTION:Approved.

Request approval of Redevelopment Agency Minutes, Regular Meeting, February 12,2002.
ACTION:Approved.

1. First Amendment to Lease by and among Sam Franciosa, Trustee of the Sam Franciosa and
Susan Franciosa Family Trust, the Orange Redevelopment Agency,and the
City of Orange for 216 E. Chapman Avenue; and 2. First
Amendment to Sublease and License Agreement by and between California National Bank
and the Orange Redevelopment Agency for 216 E. Chapman Avenue.PAGE

3. CONSENT CALENDAR (Continued)
SUMMARY: Approval of the First Amendment to Lease and the First Amendment to
Sublease and License Agreement memorializes California National Bank's exercise of its
option to extend the term of its Sublease at 216 E. Chapman Avenue for a period of five
5) years, commencing January 1,2002.
ACTION:
I. Approved the First Amendment to Lease by and among Sam Franciosa, Trustee of the
Sam Franciosa and Susan Franciosa Family Trust, the City of Orange, and the Orange
Redevelopment Agency and authorized the Chairman to execute, and the Agency Clerk
to attest, the First Amendment to Lease on behalf of the Agency; and
2. Approved the First Amendment to Sublease and License Agreement by and between
the California National Bank and the Orange Redevelopment Agency and authorized the
Chairman to execute, and the Agency Clerk to attest, the First Amendment to Sublease
and License Agreement on behalf of the Agency.
FISCAL IMP ACT: There will be no fiscal impact to the Orange Redevelopment Agency
because the rent payments paid to the Agency by California National Bank are, in turn,
passed through by the Agency to the property owner, Sam Franciosa, Trustee of the Sam
Franciosa Family Trust.
