OF A SPECIAL MEETING
ORANGE, CALIFORNIA
March 31, 2010
The City Council of the City of Orange, California, convened a Special Meeting at 8:00 p.m. on
March 31, 2010 in the Council Briefing Room, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange, California.
8:00 P.M. SPECIAL MEETING
1. OPENING
1.3 ROLL CALL
PRESENT -Smith, Murphy, Cavecche, Dumitru, Bilodeau
ABSENT -None
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS -None
3. RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION
The City Council recessed at 8:05 p.m. to a Closed Session for the following purposes:
a. Conference with Labor Negotiator pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6:
City Negotiators: City Manager John Sibley
Deputy City Manager Rick Otto
Human Resources/Employee Relations Director Steven Pham
Assistant Human Resources Director Mike Harary
Employee Organizations: All Bargaining Units
b. To consider and take possible action upon such other matters as are orally announced
by the City Attorney, City Manager, or City Council prior to such recess unless the
motion to recess indicates any of the matters will not be considered in Closed Session.
4. ADJOURNMENT -Council adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
Declaration of City Clerk, Mary E. Murphy, declaring posting of the City Council Agenda of a
Special Meeting on March 31, 2010 at Orange Civic Center kiosk; and electronically mailing to
each Councilmember and the media at least 24 hours before commencement of said Special
Meeting.
