LEGAL NOTICE OF DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
PUBLIC MEETING
MEETING LOCATION: City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange.

SUBJECT: Design Review No. 25-0023, Guthrie Batavia Business Center
Master Sign Program
PROPERTY LOCATION: 1570-1594 N. Batavia Street | APN: 930-521-83
REQUEST: A proposal to establish a new master sign program for an industrial
business center.
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION:
The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines
15301 (Class 1 – Existing Facilities) because the project consists of
adding new signage to an existing commercial property. There is no
environmental public review required for a Categorical Exemption.

PROJECT APPLICANT: Sunset Signs and Printing Inc.
FURTHER INFORMATION: All interested parties may submit comments and may be heard on any
relevant matter relating to the proposed actions by mail, email, voicemail,
or in-person, as set forth in the September 3, 2025, Design Review
Committee agenda to be posted on the City’s website at
www.cityoforange.org. To obtain further information about the project,
