NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
FARMWORKER AND EMPLOYEE HOUSING ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public Hearing at a
Regular Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as
the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange to consider the
following request:
SUBJECT:An ordinance amending Title 17 (Zoning Ordinance) of the Orange Municipal Code related to
Farmworker and Employee Housing as a permitted use in certain zoning districts.
PROPERTY LOCATION:Citywide
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION:The proposed project is not subject to the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the state CEQA
Guidelines (Common Sense Exemption) because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that
it would have a significant effect on the environment. For this reason, no further CEQA documentation is
required.
