Chapman Avenue, Orange. Members of the public can also access meetings on Spectrum Cable Channel 3 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99 and streamed live and on- demand on the City’s website. DATE: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2025 TIME: 5:30 P.M. (or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard) SUBJECT: DRC25-0022; SHAFFER STREET GARAGE DEMOLITION PROPERTY LOCATION: 442 & 444 S. Shaffer St | APN: 390-414-21 REQUEST: The applicant proposes to demolish an existing detached 400 square foot two-car garage in the Old Towne Historic District located at 442-444 S. Shaffer Street. The property is located in the Old Towne Historic District, and it is designated as a non-contributing property. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines Section 15303 (Class 3 – New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures) because the project consists of the demolition of an existing non-contributing garage.
