Audit Advisory Committee
May 08, 2025
The Audit Advisory Committee of the City of Orange, California convened on Thursday, May
8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. for a Special Meeting in the Weimer Room, 300 E. Chapman Avenue,
Orange, California.
1. OPENING/CALL TO ORDER
Chair Cavecche called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.
1.1 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Led by Vice Chair Brian Wilterink.
1.2 ROLL CALL
Present: Brown, Cavecche, Horton, Grampp, Li, Smith, and Wilterink
Absent: Schroeder
2. COMMITTEE BUSINESS
2.1. Review of the City's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and Prop 218 as
brought before the City Council (Continued from April 3, 2025).
Assistant Finance Director Pham presented a brief staff report. The Committee
discussed their findings. Chair Cavecche distributed a proposed outline for presenting
a written and verbal report to the Council accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation.
Staff is evaluating if the Committee still needs to review Prop 218 funds. If needed
Committee Member Horton and Brown volunteered to review on behalf of the
committee.
3. AUDIT PLANNING
3.1. Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2025, Audit Planning.
Committee Members Li, Grampp, and Wilterink were selected to meet with Lance, Soli
Lunghard LLP to plan for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025 audit.

6. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:41 p.m.
The next Regular Audit Advisory meeting will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at
5:30 p.m., in the Weimer Room.
