Chapman Avenue, Orange, California. 1. OPENING/CALL TO ORDER Chair Vazquez called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m 1.1 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Commissioner Leslie led the flag salute 1.2 ROLL CALL Present: Veiar, lt/aldonado, Tucker, lVcCormack, Leslie, and Y azquez Absent: Martinez 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS None. 3. CONSENT CALENDAR All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the Planning Commission and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of said items unless members of the Planning Commission, staff or the public request specific items removed from the Consent Calendar for separate action. 3.1. Approval of meeting minutes of the City of Orange Planning Commission Regular Meeting held on August 5,2024. ACTION: Approved minutes as presented. Approval of the Consent Calendar A motion was made by Commissioner Maldonado, seconded by Commissioner Tucker, to approve the Consent Calendar as presented. The motion carried by the following vote: Aves: Veiar, Maldonado, Tucker, lt/cCormack, Leslie, and VazquezNoes: None Absent: Martinez 4. PUBLIC HEARINGS Public Hearing to consider a Zone Text Amendment to Orange Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance) to amend Update Title provisions 17 ot the related to 4.',1 . Page 1 of 2 Planning Commission Minutes August 19, 2024 application expiration, noticing requirements, and time for appeal. Chair Vazquez opened the public hearing at 5:43 p.m; there being Chair Vazquez closed the public hearing at 5:43 p.m. no public speakers, A motion was made by Commissioner Vejar, seconded by Commissioner McCormack to: Adopt Planning Commission Resolution No. 24-24. A Resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Orange recommending the City Council approve an Ordinance amending Title 17 of the Orange Municipal Code to amend provisions related to application exprration, noticing requirements, and time for appeal with the discussed revisions in the fourth Whereas to add the applicant as one of the interested parties and in the section on appeals change five calendar days to five City business days.
