DATE: WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2024 TIME: 5:30 P.M. (or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard) SUBJECT: DESIGN REVIEW NO. 5143 – HEALY RESIDENCE ADDITION AND REMODEL PROPERTY LOCATION: 247 N. CENTER STREET (APN: 039-244-06) REQUEST: The applicant proposes to construct a new 267 square-foot rear addition and partial interior remodel of an existing one-story single-family dwelling located in the Old Towne Orange Historic District. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (Class 1 – Existing Facilities), because it consists of an addition to an existing structure that does not result in an increase of more than 50 percent of the floor area, the project site is located in an area where all public services and facilities are available, and the area in which the project is located is not environmentally sensitive.
