NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ZONING CODE AMENDMENT:
AMENDING TITLE 17 OF THE ORANGE
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED TO
APPLICATION EXPIRATION, NOTICING
REQUIREMENTS AND TIME FOR APPEAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public
Hearing at a Regular Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue,
Orange to consider the following request:
SUBJECT: An amendment to Title 17 of the Orange Municipal Code related to application
expiration, noticing requirements, and time for appeal.
APPLICANT: City of Orange
LOCATION: Citywide
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: This Ordinance is not a project under the California
Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) per State CEQA Guidelines Section 15378, because it
involves administrative activities of the City that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes
in the environment.
FURTHER INFORMATION:All interested persons may be heard on any relevant matter relating
to the proposed action by attending the public hearing in person; or by submitting written comments
as set forth in the October 8, 2024, City Council agenda. To obtain further information about the
