ORDINANCE
NO. 41-70
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING
SECTION 3221 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE
BY ESTABLISHING A PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMIT
ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF TAFT AVENUE AND ON
CERTAIN PORTIONS OF MAIN STREET WITHIN THE
CITY OF ORANGE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:
TAFT AVENUE - from the west city limits to Glassell
Street, the prima facie speed limit is
forty (40) miles per hour.SECTION
II:Ordinance
No. 31-63, as amended by Ordinance No. 47-
65,shall be amended to read as
follows:TAFT AVENUE - from Glassell Street to Tustin
Street, the prima facie speed limit is thirty-
five (35) miles per hour.

MAIN STREET - from Katella Avenue to Taft Avenue,
the prima facie speed limit is thirty-
five (35) miles per hour.
SECTION IV:
This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen
15) days after its passage in the Orange City News, a news-
paper of general circulation, published and circulated in the
City of Orange, and shall take effec t thirty (30) days from
and after the date of its final passage.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of December, 1970.
