AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ORANGE REPEALING
SUBSECTIONS (a) AND (b) OF SECTION 7611 OF THE
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE GOVERNING WATER RATES
APPLICABLE TO CONSUMERS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF ORANGE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange has
heretofore approved Resolution No. 3322 establishing water rates
for water services to customers both inside and outside the city
limits of the City of Orange, which revised rates are to become
effective October 1, 1970, and
WHEREAS, such revised rates adopted by Resolution
No. 3322 are intended to, and will, supersede the water rates
as set forth in Section 7611 of the Orange Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE
DOES ORDA IN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:
That Subsections (a) and (b) of Section 7611 of the
Orange Municipal Code be, and the same are, hereby repealed.
SECTION I I:
This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen
15) days after its passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper
of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of
Orange, and shall take effec t thirty (30) days from and after
the date of its final passage.
ADOPTED this 8th day of September 1970.
