AMENDING SECTION 9101 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE
AND APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF
PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF ESPLANADE
STREET BEGINNING AT A POINT APPROXIMATELY 250
FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF CHAPMAN

RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission
and after due public hearings as required by law, and after
finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 3349 adopted by the
City Council, the City Council of the City of Orange has
concluded that the following amendment to Section 9101 of the
Orange Municipal Code should be
adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:SECTION
I:Section 9101 of the Orange Municipal Code, by
which there is classified as R-2 (Two Family
Residential) District,that certain real property in the City of Orange,
County of Orange, State of California, hereinafter described,
is amended in order to change the zoning classification of
said property to the R-3 (Multiple
Family Residential) District.Said property is
described as follows:The North 150.00 feet of that portion
of Lot 1,Tract 440, Hewes Park Tract, as
per map recorded in Book 16, Pages 21 and
22, Miscellaneous Maps,Records of said Orange County,
described as follows:Beginning at a point on the East line of
said Lot 1,South 00 12' West 341.52 feet from
the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence South 00 12' West
283.34 feet along said East line; thence North 890 45'
West 302.03 feet parallel with the North line of said
lot to the West line of said lot; thence Northerly
283.34 feet along said West line to a line parallel
with the North Line of said lot that passes through
the point of beginning; thence South 890 45' East 302.
48 feet to the
point
of beginning.and All that certain land situated in
the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center
line of Chapman Avenue and Esplanade Street, as shown on
Tract No. 440, Hewes Park Tract, recorded in Book 16
Pages 21 and 22 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of or~nge
County, California; thence South 00 12' West along the
centerline of said Esplanade Street 392.65 feet. thence
Westerly parallel wlth the Northerly line of Lot 1 of
said Tract No. 440, 332.48 feet to a point in the
Westerly line of said Lot 1; thence Northerly along
said Westerly line of Lot 1 and said line produced
392.65 feet to a point in the centerline of Chapman
Avenue; thence Easterly along said centerline 333.15
feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING the North 250 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPTING the South 21.13 feet thereof.
SECTION II:
This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen
15) days after its passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper
of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of
Orange, and shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after
the date of its final passage.
