ORD-13-70 RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF GLASSELL STREET ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY ON THE SANTA ANA RIVERORDINANCE NO, 13- 70 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 9101 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF GLASSELL STREET ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHERLY RIGHT-OF- WAY OF THE SANTA ANA RIVER.Pre- Zone Change No. 573 CARRIAGE ESTATES RECITALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon by the Planning Commis-sion and after due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the facts as shown byResolutionNo. 3283 adopted by the City Council, the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to Section 9101 of the Orange Municipal Code should be adopted; and WHEREAS, there now exists in the unincorporated territory of the County of Orange certain real property here-inafter described which is designated as County of Orange A-I District; and WHEREAS, the City of Orange desires that the here-inafter described property be classified as City of Orange R-3 Multiple Family Residential) District upon completion of annexation proceedings incorporating the territory into the City of Orange.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:The followingdescribedrealpropertyisherebychangedtotheCityof Orange R-3 (Multiple Family Residential) District,said zoning to beeffectiveuponannexationofsaidrealpropertytotheCityofOrange. Said real property is more particularly described as follows:All that certain land situated in the State of California, County of Orange, described as follows:All that portion of the land allotted to Jose Antonio Yorba and Josefa Yorba de Smythe as described in the Final Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, a certified copy of which was recorded September 12, 1868 in Book B, page 410 of Judgments of the District Court of the 17th Judicial District in and for Los Beginning at the point of intersection of the North- westerly extension of the Northeasterly line of that certain 50 acre tract of land conveyed to MargaretScottMillerbydeedrecordedinBook95, page 277 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, with the Southeasterly line of the right of way of the Olive West Orange Protection District as described in deed recorded in Book 317, page 136 of Deeds, records of Orange County, California; thence North- easterly along said Southeasterly right of way line 800.0 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the Southwesterly line of said Tract No. 120, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 11, page 17 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence South 500 30' East 337 feet, more or less, to the South corner of said Tract No, 120; thence South- westerly in a direct line 800 feet, more or less, to the North corner of said 50-acre tract; thence North 510 51' 30" West along the Northwesterly extension of the Northeasterly line of said 50-acre tract 407.5 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.Excepting therefrom that portion of said land lying Easterly of the Westerly line of Glassell Street,formerly Dowling Avenue, as said street is described in the deed tothe County of Orange, recorded October 21, 1964 in Book 7268, page 235 of Official Records.
