RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission
and after due public hearings as required by law, a.nd after
finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 3271 adopted by the
City Council, the City Council of the City of Orange has
concluded that the following amendment to Section 9101 of the
Orange Municipal Code should be
adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:SECTION
I:Section 9101 of the Orange Municipal Code by
which there is classified as R-1-8 (Single Family
Residential, 8,000 square foot minimum lot size) district, that
certain real property in the City of Orange, County of Orange,
State of California,hereinafter described, is amended in order to
change the zoning classification of said property to the
R-3 (
Multiple Family Residential) district.Said property
is described as follows:The East 990.00 feet of that
portion of Lot F of the Bush and Watson Tract,
in the County of Orange, State of California, as
per Map of Survey made by George C.
Knox in September
1871,described as follows:Beginning at the Southwest
corner of the North one half of said Lot F; thence
North 330.00 feet;thence East 1320.00 feet;
thence South 330.00 feet to the Southeast corner of
the North one half of said Lot F; thence West to
the point of beginning.EXCEPTING THEREFROM
that portion thereof described in the deed to the
State of California, recorded December 11, 1959, in Book
5010, page 193 of Official Records in the office
of the County Re-corder of said
County, and more
particularly
Beginning at the southeast corner of the North
one half of said Lot; thence along the EasterlylineofsaidLotNorth0006' 56" Wes t 330.00
feet to the Northerly line of the parcel of land
granted to John Donnarumma, et ux, in Parcel 1
of Deed recorded in Book 3163, Page 413 of
Official Records in the office of the County
Recorder of said County; thence along said
Northerly line South 890 38' 57" West 211.17
feet; thence South 00 49' 00" West 330.05 feet
to the South line of said North one half; thence
along said South line North 890 38' 57" East
216.54 feet to the point of beginning.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 116.16
feet of said East 990.00 feet, measured at right
angles from the Westerly line of said East 990.00
feet.
SECTION II:
This ordinance shall be posted at three (3) publicplaceswithintheCityofOrangeasdesignatedbyordinance
within fifteen (15) days after passage by the City Council of
the City of Orange in accordance with the requirements of law
of the State of California, and shall take effect thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its final passage.
ADOPTED this 3rd day of March, 1970.
