PROJECT RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission
and after due public hearings as required by law, and after
finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 7450 adopted by
the City Council, the City Council of the city of Orange
has concluded that the following amendment to Section 17.06.020 of
the Orange Municipal Code should
be adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section I:Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code,
by which there is classified as R-1-6 District,
that certain real property in the City of Orange, County of
Orange, State of California,hereinafter described, is amended in order
to change the zoning classification of said property to the R-
3 District and to change the location of an R-O (
Recreation open Space) District from the center of the Santiago Creek frontage
to
the Southern end of the parcel.
Said property is described as follows:Those portions of Lots 5, 6, 7 and 10
in Block C of the Land of Oge and Bond as shown on a map
recorded in Book 3, Pages 430 and 431 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,California, portion of Lot 25 of
the G. Howard Thompson Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 1,
Page 22 of Record of surveys,and a portion of Sections 27 and 28
in TownShip 4 South, Range 9
West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian.Section II:A summary of this
Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full text
of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the city Clerk at
least five (5) days prior to the city Council meeting at
which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A summary of
this Ordinance shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days
the Orange City News, a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of Orange. The city Clerk
shall post in the Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of
the full text of such adopted Ordinance along with the names of
those City Council members voting for and against the Ordinance
in accordance with Government Code section 36933. This Ordinance
shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its
final passage.
