E. DEVELOPMENT RECITALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon by the
Planning commission and after due public hearings as required by law, and
after finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 7379 adopted by
the City Council,the city Council of the city of Orange has
concluded that the following amendment to section 17.06.020 of
the Orange Municipal Code should
be adopted; and WHEREAS, the City of Orange desires
that the property hereinafter described be classified as city of
Orange R-I-E One Acre Estate, Residential
District upon completion of annexation proceedings incorporating the territory
into the city of Orange.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF
ORANGE DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:section I:The following described real
property is hereby changed to City of Orange, R-I-
E One Acre Estate, Residential District, said zoning to be effective upon
annexation of said real property to the City of Orange.
Said real
property is
more particularly described as follows:Leqal Description:That portion of
the northeast quarter of section 25, Township 4 south range 9 west, San
Bernardino base and meridian, in the land allotted to Nieves Lopez de
Peralta in decree of partition, of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana,
recorded in Book "B" of judgments of the 17th Judicial District
Court of California, in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:Beginning at the
northeast corner of the land described in Parcel 2 of the deed to
D. M. Loomis and wife, recorded February 16, 1953 in Book 2454
Page 180, official records of said Orange County, said corner being 330
feet south of the northeast corner of said section, and running
thence south 0 degrees 20 minutes 17 seconds west along the east line of
said land, 73.98 feet, more or less, to the northwesterly
line of Irvine's subdivision, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in Book 1 Page 88, Miscellaneous Maps,records of
line,
south 35 degrees 29 minutes 29 seconds west 811.57 feet, more or
less, to the centerline of the Old County Park Road, 60 feet in width,
as granted to Orange County by deed recorded July 24, 1929,in
Book 303 Page 1, official records; thence north 22 degrees 29 minutes
20 seconds west along said centerline, 395.89 feet, more or less,
to the beginning of a tangent curve therein concave easterly and
having a radius of 1000 feet; thence northerly along said curve through
a central angle of 15 degrees 22 minutes an arc distance of 268.
20 feet to a line tangent; thence north 7 degrees 07 minutes 20 seconds
along said centerline, 111.50 feet, more or less, to the northwest
corner of said land of Loomis; thence along the north line
of said land, south 89 degrees 59 minutes 06 seconds east 705.
21 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.Excepting
therefrom that portion described as follows:Beginning
at the northwest corner of said land of Loomis and running
thence along the north line of said land south 89 degrees 59
minutes 06 seconds east 302.47 feet to the northeast corner of the
land described in the deed to Loyal M. Nesbit and wife,recorded
November 20, 1962, in Book 6329 Page 447, official records;
thence south 0 degrees 00 minutes 54 seconds west along the
east line of said land, 148.72 feet to the southeast corner of said
land; thence north 89 degrees 59 minutes 06 seconds west along the
south line of said land 283.18 feet to the centerline of said Old
County Park Road; thence northerly along said centerline,149.
98 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.Also
excepting therefrom that portion described as follows:Beginning
at a point in the easterly line of said Old County Park
Road (now known as Santiago Canyon Road) which is distant thereon
North 22 degrees 29 minutes 20 seconds west 28.18 feet from its
intersection with the southeasterly line of said land of Loomis hereinbefore
mentioned, and running thence north 22 degrees 29 seconds
20 seconds west along said easterly line, 32 feet; thence north
67 degrees 30 minutes 40 seconds east 14 feet; thence south 22
degrees 29 minutes 20 seconds east parallel with said easterly line
of santiago Canyon Road, 32 feet; thence south 67 degrees 30 minutes
40 seconds west 14 feet to the point of beginning.section
II:This
ordinance shall be published once fifteen (15) days after its
passage in the Orange city News, a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of Orange, and ORD.

shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its
final passage.
