HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Scheduled Vacancies BCC 4-24-24c. ,0"0„0„4,\rook/4 1,NOTICE OF SCHEDULED VACANCIES NI.Opportunity to serve on various City Boards, Commissions, and Committees NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that several vacancies exist on City Boards, Commissions, and Committees due to the expiration of terms of office and newly created positions. These vacancies include: Board, Commission, or Committee Vacancies Meeting date/time Audit Advisory Committee* 7 1st Thursday of Term of office is 2 years February and October Members' primary residence or primary place of employment at 5:30 p.m. must be in the City of Orange. Committee members shall have business-related experience, and the designation of Certified Public Accountant(CPA) is desirable. Design Review Committee* 1 1st and 3rd Term of office is 4 years Wednesday of each month at Members' primary residence or primary place of employment 5:30 p.m. must be in the City of Orange. Committee members shall be qualified to analyze and interpret architectural and site planning information, including, but not limited to, licensed landscape architects, architects, urban planners, engineers and licensed general contractors. At least two members shall have professional experience in urban planning, architectural history or historic preservation and possess a general knowledge of architecture in the Old Towne Historic District. Investment Advisory Committee* 7 Quarterly on 4th Term of office is 2 years Wednesday of January, April, Members must have either their primary residence or primary July, and October place of employment in the City of Orange. Committee members at 5:30 p.m. shall demonstrate managerial experience of no less than five years in one or more of the following areas: investment banking, investment brokerage and sales, investment management, financial management and planning, or commercial banking. Traffic Commission* 1 2nd Wednesday Term of office is 4 years of February, April, June, Members' primary residence must be in the City of Orange.August, October, Members review matters of traffic and transportation planning, and December requests for speed limit increase or decreases, complaints at 5:30 p.m. concerning traffic safety conditions, and other general duties as set forth in Chapter 10.06 of the Orange Municipal Code.
