When Ordinance No. 39-88 becomes effective, Interim Ordinance No. 37-88, as amended, and InterimOrdinance No. 43- 88 shall become null and void without further action oftheCityCouncil.Section II: The facts justifying the enactment of this Ordinance as an interim measure are as follows:The facts stated in Section V of I~-~----------- I Another reason why this Ordinance No. 43-88 is being adopted as an interim measure is that Interim Ordinance No. 37-88 will become null and void on November 4, 1988, and the permanent Old Towne Demolition Ordinance No. 39-88 will not become effective until November 25, 1988. If the effectivity of Interim Ordinance No.37-88 is not extended beyond November 4, 1988, then nothing would prohibit the demolition of historically or culturally significant buildings and structures in the Old Towne District. The City council has determined the public health, safety and welfare justify urgency enactment under the provisions of section 65858 of the California Government Code.ADOPTED this 1st day of 1988. t ATTEST:tYIA/ U~~ ~~~1A-City Cler 0 t C Y of Orange STATE OF CALIFORNIA )COUNTY OF ORANGE ) as CITY OF ORANGE )I, MARILYN J.
