ORD-37-85 RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BIXBY AVENUE AND ORANGE STREETORDINANCE NO. 37- 85 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06. 020 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BIXBY AVENUE AND ORANGE STREET.ZONE CHANGE 1018 CITY OF ORANGE RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 6207 adopted by the City Council,the City COuncil of the City of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code should be adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code, by which there is classified as County of Orange R-4 District, that certain real property in the City of Orange, County of Orange, State of California, hereinafter described, is amended in order to change the zoning classification of said property to the City of Orange R-D-6 District.Said property is described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.SECTION II:A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A summary of this Ordinance shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in the Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those City Council members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance with Government Code Section 36933. This thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage. ADOPTED this 10th day of September 1985. J'(Tense,tY' t7 City Clerk of the City of Orange ORD. 37-85 2 - EXHIBIT 'A' Lots 1 and 2 in Block H of Olive Heights as shown on a map recorded in Book 19, Page 18 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California and the West 10 feet of that portion of Orange Avenue, adjoining said Lots 1 and 2 on the East, abandoned by the Orange County Board of Supervisors June 5, 1912, all said land being in the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the existing boundary line of the City of Orange as established by "Annexation No. 157" to said City of Orange, said point being 10 feet East of the Northeast corner of said Lot 1 in Block H of Olive Heights and in the East line of said abandoned portion of Orange Avenue, said point also being in the South right-of-way line of Bixby Avenue, 60 feet wide,and in the West right-of-way line of Orange Avenue, 60 feet wide; thence Westerly along said existing boundary line 150 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1, said point being in the Easterly line of an alley, 20 feet wide; thence leaving said existing boundary line, Southerly along the West line of said Lots 1 and 2, 100 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 2;thence Easterly along the Southerly line of said Lot 2 and across said abandoned portion of Orange Avenue, 150 feet to a point in said East line of the abandoned portion; thence Northerly along said East line, 100 feet to the Point of Beginning.
