RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after
due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the
facts as shown by Resolution No. 6161 adopted by the City Council,
the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the
follow-ing amendment to Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal
Code should be adopted subject to the Development Standards set
forth in that certain document entitled "Southridge Area XX,
Planned Community District," Revised 6-15-84, a copy of
which is attached hereto, made a part hereof, and designated herein
as Exhibit "A".NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE DOES
ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:SECTION I:Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal
Code, by which there is classified as A-I, R-1-
6 and R-1-8 District, that certain real property in the
City of Orange, County of Orange, State of California,
hereinafter described, is amended in order to change the zoning
classification of said property to the P-C District,subject
to the
Development Standards set forth in Exhibit "
A"attached hereto.Said property is
described as follows:In that certain legal
description attached hereto, made
a part
hereof, and designated herein as Exhibit "B".SECTION II:A summary
of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified cop~ of the full
text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the Offlce of the City Clerk
at
Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A
summary of this Ordinance shall also be published once within
fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in the OrangeCityNews, a newspaper of general circulation, published and
circulated in the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in
the Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of
such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those City Council
members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance with
Government Code Section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect
thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage.

SOUTHRIDGE AREA XX
PLANnED COI1MUNITY DISTJUCT
I Intent and Purpose.
The Southridge Area XX Planned Community District is
intended to provide for a wide range of residential
housing types and sizes. The eight (8) planning units
A through H) may be developed according to site
development standards contained in this text. These
development standards are primarily the same as standards
contained in the Orange Municipal Zoning Code with
selected exceptions and restrictions to allow flexi-
bility for hillside developments while insuring consis-
tancy with the Land Use Element of the General Plan.
The Planning Units designated for multiple-family
units require approval of a Conditional Use Permit for
all uses to provide for a review process prior to
issuance of building

Planning Area XX is not exceeded.
