RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after
due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the
facts as shown by Resolution No. 5774 adopted by the City Council,
the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the
follow-ing amendment to Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal
Code should be
adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE
DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:SECTION
I:Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code, by
which there is classified as M-2 District, that certain
real property in the City of Orange, County of Orange, State
of California,hereinafter described, is amended in order to change
the zoning classification of said property to the
R-M-7 District.Said property
is described as follows:BEGINNING at the southeast
corner of the land conveyed to Elwood R. Bender
and wife by deed recorded August 28, 1946,
in Book 1455, Page 9 of Official
Records, said southeast corner being in the
centerline of Fletcher Street south 890 57' 30" East 316.
75 feet from the point of intersection
of the centerlines of those certain 40
feet County roads described in deeds recorded January
17, 1917, in Book 299, Page 131 of Deeds,
and recorded May 13,1918, in Book 324, Page
4 of Deeds; thence northerly along the
easterly line of said Bender's land 300 feet;
thence south 890 57'30" east, parallel with
the centerline of said Fletcher Street,
60 feet; thence southerly,parallel with the easterly line
of said Bender's land, 3UO feet to the
centerline
Street; thence north 890 57' 30" west along
said centerline, 60 feet to the point of
beginning.
Beginning at a point in the centerline of
Fletcher Street south 890 57' 30" east 60
feet from the southeast corner of the land
conveyed to Elwood R. Bender and wife by
deed recorded August 28, 1946, in Book 1455,
Page 9 of Official Records of said Orange
County, said point being south 890 57' 30"
east 376.75 feet along said centerline from
the point of intersection of the centerlines
of those certain 40 feet County roads de-
scribed in deeds recorded January 17, 1917,
in Book 299, Page 131 of Deeds, and recorded
May 13, 1918, in Book 324, Page 4 of Deeds;
thence south 890 57' 30" east along said
centerline 60 feet; thence northerly parallel
with the easterly line of said Bender's land,
300 feet; thence north 890 57' 30" west parallel
with the said centerline of Fletcher Street, 60
feet; thence southerly parallel with the
easterly line of said Bender's land 300 feet to
the point of beginning.
SUBJECT to the reservation of the southerly 20
feet for road purposes.
PARCEL 1: Real property in the City of Orange,
County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of that certain
parcel of land conveyed to George E. Amos and wife
by deed recorded May 25, 1946, in Book 1408, Page
522, of Offical Records; thence north 850 20' west
along the northerly line of said land conveyed to
Amos, 130 feet to the true point of beginning of
this description, running thence north 850 20' west
80.88 feet, more or less, to the northeast corner of
that certain parcel of land conveyed to Charles O.
Dale and wife by deed recorded December 22, 1947,
in Book 1613, Page 141, of Official Records; thence
south 120 17' 30" east along the northeasterly line
of said land conveyed to Dale, to the Southeast
corner thereof; thence south 890 57' 30" east along
the southerly line of the said land conveyed to
Amos, 80.5 feet, more or less, to a point which is
north 890 57' 30" west, 130 feet from the southeast
corner of said land conveyed to Amos; thence north-
westerly along a straight line to the true point of
beginning.

Beginning at a point in the northerly line of
the tract of land conveyed by Otto Ahlevn and
wife to George E. Amos and wife by deed
recorded May 25, 1944, in Bood 1408, Page 522,
of Official Records, said point being distant
south 850 20' east along said northerly line
120.4 feet from the northwest corner of said
tract of land, said point of beginning being
the northeast corner of the tract of land
conveyed by George E. Amos and wife to Elwood
R. Bender and wife by deed recorded August 28,
1046, in Book 1455, Page 9 of Official Records;
thence south 850 20' east along the north line
of said tract of land conveyed to George E.
Amos and wife by deed above mentioned a dis-
tance of 80.30 feet; thence south 120 17' 30"
east 620 feet, more or less, to an intersection
with the centerline of Fletcher Street; thence
north 390 57' 30" west along the centerline of
Fletcher Street 87.50 feet, more or less, to
the southeast corner of tract of land conveyed
to Alonzo Long by deed recorded February 20,
1948, in Book 1623, at Page 531 of Official
Records; thence northerly along the easterly
line of the said tract of land conveyed to
Long, 300 feet to the northeast corner thereof;
thence north 890 57' 30" west along the northerly
line of said tract of land conveyed to Long and
along the northerly line of the tract of land
conveyed to Edna Helm Warwick by deed recorded
December 22, 1947, in Book 1603, Page 119 of
Official Records, 120 feet to the northwest
corner of said tract of land conveyed to War-
wick; thence northerly along the easterly line
of said tract of land conveyed to Elwood R.
Bender and wife, 311.87 feet more or less to
the point of beginning.

Beginning at the northeast corner of that
certain parcel of land conveyed to George E.
Amos and wife by deed recorded May 25, 1946, in

from said point of beginning north 850 20' west
along the northerly line of said land conveyed
to Amos, 130 feet to a point, thence southeasterly
along a straight line to a point in the southerly

being north B90 57' 30" west 130 feet from the
southeast corner thereof, thence south 890 57'
30" east along the southerly line of said land
conveyed to Amos, 130 feet to the southeast
corner thereof; thence north 120 17' 30" west
602.45 feet to the point of beginning.
The south 300 feet of the East 115.00 feet of
that portion of the northwest quarter of the
northeast quarter of Section 18, Township 4
South, Range 9 west, in the land allotted to
T.D. Mott and Ascencion Sepulveda by decree
of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa
Ana, recorded in Book "B" of Judgments of the
17th Judicial District Court of California,
located in the County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
centerlines of those certain 40 feet County
roads described in deeds recorded January 17,
1917, in Book 299, Page 131, and May 13, 1918,
in Book 324, Page 4, of Deeds; thence running
along the centerline of the County road and
along the east line of lands of T. Robbins and
others, north 190 07' east 379.12 feet to a
point; thence continuing along said County road
and said property line north 150 20' east,
273.00 feet to an old gas pipe marking the north-
west corner of lands decribed in deed recorded
September 17, 1910, in Book IBl, Page 203, Deeds;
thence south 850 20' east along the south line of
land formerly owned by Traulleberg, 120.4 feet
to a gas pipe; thence southerly 611.87 to an
intersection with the centerline of Fletcher
Street, said point of intersection being south
890 57' 30" east 316.75 feet from the point of
beginning; thence north 890P 57' 30" west to the
point of beginning.
SECTION II:
A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a
certified copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be
posted in the Office of the City Clerk at least five (5)
days prior to the City Council meeting at which this
Ordinance is to be adopted. A summary of this Ordinance
shall also be published once within fifteen (15) days after
this Ordinance's passage in the Orange City News, a news-
paper of general circulation, published and circulated in
the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in the Office
of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of such
adopted Ordinance along with the names of those City Council

members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance
with Government Code Section 36933. This Ordinance shall
take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its
final passage.
