ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06.020 OF THE
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION
OF PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE NORTHEAST
PORTION ONLY OF THE PROPERTY HERETOFORE ADVERTISED
FOR RECLASSIFICATION LOCATED ON
THREE PARCELS OF LAND BOUNDED BY PALM AVENUE,
PALM DRIVE AND MAIN STREET.ZONE CHANGE

report
thereon by the Planning Commission and after due public hearings
as required by law, and after finding the facts as shown
by Resolution No. 5824 adopted by the City Council, the City Council
of the City of Orange has concluded that the follow-ing amendment
to Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code should be
adopted:NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOv~S:SECTION I:
Section 17.
06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code, by which there is classified
as R-1-6 District, that certain real property in the
City of Orange, County of Orange, State of California, hereinafter
described, is amended in order to change the zoning classification
of said property to the o-P
District.Said property is described as
follows:The East 175 feet of the South
75 feet of the North 108 feet of
the
following:The North 6 acres of the
following:Commencing at a point 8 chains
South of the Northeast corner of Lot 1
of the Lockhart Tract as shown on
a map recorded in Book 4, Pages
512 and 513, of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County,
California,and running thence West 12.50
chainsi thence South 8 chainsi thence
East 12.50 chains; thence North 8
chains to the point of beginning and
con-taining 10 acres of land, more
or less, and being a portion of Lot
2 of said Lockhart
section II:
A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified
copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the
Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the City
Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted. A
summary of this Ordinance shall also be published once within
fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in the Orange
City News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and
circulated in the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post in
the Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full text of
such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those City Council
members voting for and against the Ordinance in accordance with
Government Code Section 36933. This Ordinance shall take effect
thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage.
ADOPTED this 2.5th day of Janua ry 1983.
