AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06.020
OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING
THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED
ON THE EAST SIDE OF EQUESTRIAN DRIVE,
APPROXIMATELY 433 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTER-
LINE OF CHAPMAN AVENUE (425 EQUESTRIAN DRIVE).

RECITALS:
After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after due
public hearings as required by law, and after finding the facts
as shown by Resolution No. 5789 adopted by the City Council, the
City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the follow-
ing amendment to section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code
should be adopted:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:
Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code, by which
there is classified as A-l District, that certain real
property in the City of Orange, County of Orange, State of
California,hereinafter described, is amended in order to change the
zoning classification of said property to the R-
1-40 District.Said property is
described as follows:Parcell: Beginning at a point
in the centerline of that public highway commonly known
as the county Park Road, which bears north 00 00' 40 II
west 31.85 feet from the northeast corner of Lot
11 of Tract No. 918, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 28,Pages 41, 42, and 43 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; thence north
850 44' 10"east 299.08 feet along the centerline
of said County Park Road to the northwest corner of
the land conveyed to Barney White and wife, by deed
recorded November 18,1948, in Book 1763, Page 92, of
Official Records; thence south 10 40' 50 II east along the westerly
line of said land of White and wife, 434.80 feet
to the south-west corner of said land conveyed to
White and wife,and being the true point of beginning of
the land herein described; thence along the southerly line
of said land conveyed to \Vhite and wife, the
following courses and distances: south 480 24' 40" east 57.
70 feet; south 790 24' 40" east 96.35 feet
to the southeasterly corner of said land conveyed to White
and wife; thence south 00 00' 40" east along
the southerly prolongation of the easterly line of said land conveyed
to White and wife, 484.29 feet; thence south 890
59' 20" west 172.85 feet; thence north 00 00' 40" west
539.30 feet:thence north 880 19' 10" east 35 feet
to the true
Parcel 2: An easement for ingress and egressandnecessaryutilitiesoverthefollowingdescribedland: a strip of land 12 feet in
width, the easterly boundary line of which is
described as follows:
Beginning at the true point of beginning of Parcel 1
above described, thence north 10 40' 50 II west 434.80
feet to a point in the centerline of that public
highway commonly known as County Park Road.
SECTION II:
A summary of this Ordinance shall be published and a certified
copy of the full text of this Ordinance shall be posted in the
Office of the City Clerk at least five (5) days prior to the
City Council meeting at which this Ordinance is to be adopted.
A summary of this Ordinance shall also be published once within
fifteen (15) days after this Ordinance's passage in the Orange
City News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and
circulated in the City of Orange. The City Clerk shall post
in the Office of the City Clerk a certified copy of the full
text of such adopted Ordinance along with the names of those
city Council memebers voting for and against the Ordinance in
accordance with Government Code Section 36933. This Ordinance
shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of
its final passage.
