AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06.020
OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING
THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED
ON THE WEST SIDE OF OCEAN VIEW AVENUE,
NORTH OF LINCOLN AVENUE.

RECITALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon by the Planning Commission
and after due public hearings as required by law, and after
finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 5570 adopted by the
City Council, the City Council of the City of Orange has
concluded that the following amendment to Section 17.06.020 of
the Orange Municipal Code should be adopted;
and WHEREAS, there now exists in the unincorporated
territory of the County of Orange certain real property
hereinafter described which is designated as County of Orange R-

District;and WHEREAS, the City of Orange desires that the
property herein-after described be classified as City of Orange
RM-7 District upon completion of annexation
proceedings incorporating the territory into the
City
of Orange.Parcell:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE DOES
ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:Section I:The following described real property is
hereby changed to City of Orange RM-7 District, said zoning
to be effective upon annexation of said real property to the
City of Orange. Said real property is more
particularly described as follows:The northerly 50.00 feet of Lots
8, 9 and 10 in Block "0 II of 01 i ve He ights ,
as shown on a map recorded in book 19,
page 18 of Miscel-laneous Records
of Los Angeles County,California, together with
the south half of that certain alley adjoining
said lots 8, 9 and 10 on the north,
abandoned by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Orange, a certified copy of
the proceedings being re-corded July 2, 1943 in book
1197 page 302 of Official Records
together with that portion of the west 10.00 feet
of Ocean View Avenue,as shown on a map
of Olive Heights, recorded in book 19, page
18 of Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California, abandoned by the Board of
Supervisors of Orange County on June 5, 1912 in the
minute book volume 9,page 178 lying
between the Easterly extension of the southerly line of
the northerly 50.00 feet of lot 10 in Block
110" of said Olive Heights and the
easterly extension of the northerly line of the
south half of that certain alley adjoining said

Santa Ana, County of Orange,State of
California, described as follows,to-wit:
The southerly 50 feet of the northerly
100 feet of lots eight (8), nine 9)
and ten (10) in Block "0" of "Olive Heights",
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 19,
page 18 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California.Also
the westerly 10 feet of that portion of Ocean
View Avenue adjoining said land on the east
abandoned by the Board of Supervisors of Orange
County on June 5th, 1912.Parcel

the westerly 10 feet of that portion of Ocean
View Avenue adjoining said property on the
east, abandoned by the Board of Supervisors
on June 5, 1912; and the northerly
30 feet of that portion of Short Street
adjoining said property on the south abandoned
by the Board of Supervisors,excepting
the portion included within a street
described as follows:Commencing
at a point 10 feet east of the southeast
corner of Block ..a.. of "Olive Heights",
as shown on said map; running thence
southwesterly and at right angles to Hope
Street to the point of intersection of the
north line of Hope Street; thence southwesterly
along said north line 60 feet;thence
at right angles northwesterly to point of
intersection with a line 10 feet west of east
line of Ocean View Avenue; thence westerly
to the point of beginning.Also
excepting from the property hereinbefore described
the portion granted by the Olive Milling
Land and Improvement Company to the Southern
California Railway Company by deed recorded
in book 8, page 217 of Deeds,records
of Orange County, California.

ordinance shall be published once fifteen (15) days afteritspassageintheOrangeCityNews, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Orange,andshalltakeeffectthirty (30) days from and after the date ofitsfinalpassage.ADOPTED
