RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after
due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the
facts as shown by Resolution No. 5519 adopted by the City Council,
the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the
follow-ing amendment to Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal
Code should be
adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE
DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:SEcrION
I:section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code, by
which there is certain real property in the City of Orange, County
of Orange, State of California, hereinafter described, is
amended in order to change the zoning classification of said
property to the FP-l and FP-
2 Overlay Districts.Said property is
described as follows:The Boundaries for Floodplains
1 & 2 (FP-l &FP-2) as compiled
from the flood boundary and floodway maps which
are part of the Federal Flood Insurance rate maps
for the City of Orange community panel

060228) dated December 4,1979.Said maps are on file
in the Office of
the Director
of Public Works.SEcrION II:This ordinance shall be
published once within fifteen (15)days after its passage in the Orange
City News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and
circulated in the City of Orange, and shall take effect thirty (
30) days from and after the
