ORD-08-81 APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF PROSPECT STREET NORTH OF CHAPMAN AVENUEORDINANCE NO. 8- 81 At~ ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 17.06. 020 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF PROSPECT STREET, NORTH OF CHAPMAN AVENUE.ZONE CHANGE 943 ORANGE PARK VENTURES CITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after due blic hearings as required by law, and after finding the facts as own by Resolution No. 5437 adopted by the City Council, the City uncil of the City of Orange has concluded that the following endment to Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code should adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES DAIN AS FOLLOWS:CTION I:Section 17.06.020 of the Orange Municipal Code, is amended in der to change the zoning classification of said property to the 7 District.Said property is described as follows:Lots 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 26 of the G. Howard Thompson Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 1, Page 22 of Record of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange county, California; that portion of the north half of Center Street adjoining said Lots 13, 14, 15 and 26, lying between the centerline of Main Street and the East Line of First Street, abandoned by order of the Board of Supervisors of Orange county, California, a certified copy of which was recorded May 25, 1927 in Book 55, Page 60 of Office Records, that portion of Southern Pacific Railroad right of way per Book 570, Page 288 of Deeds adjoining said Lot l2; and that portion of Main Street, 60.00 feet wide, lying northerly of the westerly prolongation of the centerline and abandoned Center Street described as follows:Beginning at the most northeasterly corner of Annexation No. 217, Ordinance No. 53-63 in the exisitng boundary of the City of Orange, California, being in the easterly right of way of Main Street per said Annexation; thence westerly, northerly, easterly and southerly along the existing boundary of the City of Orange per Annexation No. 2l7/0rdinance No. 53-63; Annexation No. l42/0rdi-nance No. 55-60; Annexation No. 342/Resolution No. 5157;Annexation No. l81/0rdinance No. 23-62; Annexation No.l69/0rdinance No. 44- 61; the following courses: north 890 47' 18" west 30.00 feet; north 00 211 00 II east 30.00 feet; north 890 47' lSu west 30. 00 feet; north 00 21' 00"east 30.00 feet; north 890 47' 18" west 127.00 feet;north 00 2l' 00" east 637. IIIIli east 1341.66 feet; south 00 21' 10" west 671.21 feet to the southerly line of said lot 15; thence leaving said existing boundary of the City of Orange north 890 471 1811 west 1154.61 feet along said southerly line and its westerly prolongation, also being the centerline of abandoned Center Street, to the intersection with the northerly prolongation of the easterly right of way line of Main Street, 60.00 feet wide; thence south 00 21' 00 II west 30.00 feet, along said northerly prolongation of easterly street right of way line to the Point of Beginning. day of June 1981. SECTION II: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Orange, and shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage.
