HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD-60-79 RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTYSITUATED AT COUTHERN ADELE STREET SOUTH OF COLLINS AVENUECITY NEWS: Please publish Wednesday, November 28, 1979 only and Hend PROOF nd PROOF OF PUBLICATION to City Clerk, P.O, Box 4/,9, Orange, California 92666, If\_R.r},.Y.N~~..,,.Jr~'''<;_E~_._,,.C.r:rX_Cl.F~R](ORDINANCE NO. 60-79 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 9101 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED AT THE SOUTHERN TERMINUS OF ADELE STREET, SOUTH OF COLLINS AVENUE. zonlt Change 865 JOHN CUERVO ET AL RECITALS: After report thereon by the Planning Commission and after due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 4942 adopted by the City Council, the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to Section 9101 of the Orange Municipal Code should be adopted: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Section 9101 of the Orange Municipal Code, by which there is classified as A-1 District, that certain real property in the City of Orange, County of Orange, State of California,hereinafter described, is amended in order to change the zoning classification of said property to the MH District.Said property is described as follows:That portion of Lot 8 in Block F of the Chapman Tract in the County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 102, Page 15 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:Beginning at the intersection of the Northerly line of said Lot 8 with the centerline of the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, as described in a deed recorded June 27, 1889 in Book 570, Page 288 of Deeds in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California; said point being Easterly 253.77 feet from the Northwest corner of said Lot 8;thence continuing along the Northerly line of said lot Easterly 785.40 feet to the Northeast corner of said lot; thence along the East line of said lot Southerly 726.00 feet; thence West 199.32 feet; thence South 227.04 feet; thence Westerly 580.80 feet to the East line of the land described in the deed to Johan C.Borchard recorded April 5, 1904 in Book 105, Page 47 of Deeds; thence Northerly along the Easterly line of the land of Borchard and the centerline of said right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad 946.44 feet to the point of EXCEPT that portion thereof included in the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company. ALSO EXCEPT that portion thereof described in a deed to Aid Water Company, reco~ded March 4, 1914 in Book 247, Page 143 of Deeds of sa~d County of Orange. SECTION II: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Orange, and shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage.
