79 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDI~G SECTION 9101 OF THE
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE
RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED ADJACENT TO THE
SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-
WAY, SOUTH
OF COLLINS AVENUE.

CITY OF ORANGE RECITALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon
by the Planning Commission and after due public hearings as required
by law, and after finding the facts as shown by Resolution
No. 5098 adopted by the City Council, the City Council of the
City of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to
Section 9101 of the Orange Municipal Code
should be adopted, and WHEREAS, there now exists
in the unincorporated territory of the County of Orange
certain real property hereinafter described which is designated as County of
Orange S-G District, and WHEREAS, the City of
Orange desires that the property hereinafter described be classified
as City of Orange S-G District
upon completion of annexation proceedings incorporating the
territory into the City of Orange.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:The following described
real property is hereby changed to City of Orange S-G
District, said zoning to be effective upon annexation of said real
property to the City of Orange. Said real
property is more particularly described as follows:Portions of Lots 8 and 9, Block
F of A. B. Chapman Tract per Book 102,
Page 15, Miscellaneous Maps, Records
of Orange County, California, described as follows:BEGINNING at a
point on the Westerly prolongation of the centerline of
Walnut Avenue, said point being Westerly of the
centerline intersection of said Walnut Avenue and Prospect
Street (abandoned) 202.51 feet; thence Southwesterly 1755 feet, more or less, to
a point 7 feet South of the centerline prolongation
of Spring Street and 1330 feet, more or less,
Westerly of the centerline of Prospect Street;thence Northerly 1380 feet, more
or less, to a point on the North line of said
Walnut Avenue, 60 feet in width, said point a1 so being
to the City of Orange, Ordinance No. 43-62; thence North
890 54' 55" East 266.64 feet along the South line of said
Annexation No. 192; thence along the East line of said Annexation
No.192 North 0038' 14" East 343.56 feet and North 70 32'
27"West 200 feet; thence North 820 08' 48" East 11.50 feet
to a point on a curve on the West line of Southern
Pacific Railroad, 50 feet in width, per Book 570, Page 288 of
Deeds,Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California;thence departing from said Annexation No. 192
Southeasterly along said Westerly line of Southern Pacific Railroad
and curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 1035
feet through a central angle of 170 01' 15" an arc distance
of 307.46 feet to the beginning of another curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 1993.26 feet;
thence through a central ang 1e of 20 24' 58" an arc distance
of 84.05 feet to a tangent line; thence continuing along
said West line of Southern Pacific Railroad South 240 32 I
05"East 267.46 feet to a point on the South line of said Lot
8,said line also being said prolongation of Walnut
Avenue centerline; thence Easterly along said South line
and prolongation 614.15 feet to the Point of
Beginning.SECTION
II:This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (
15)days after its passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper
of general circulation, published and circulated in the City
of Orange, and shall take effect thirty (30) days from and
after the date of its final
passage.ADOPTED this 20th day of November
