79 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 9101 OF THE
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE
RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
COLLINS AVENUE AT THE INTERSECTION OF ROBERTO
STREET AREA A); ON THE WEST SIDE OF PROS PECT
STREET,SOUTH OF BOND AVENUE (AREA B); ADJACENT TO
THE SANTIAGO CREEK, IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF
THE SOUTHERLY TERMINUS OF MALLARD STREET (AREA
C);AND ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC
RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY, SOUTH OF COLLINS
AVENUE (AREA D).

CITY OF ORANGE RECITALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon
by the Planning Commission and after due public hearings as required
by law, and after finding the facts as shown by Resolution
No. 5033 adopted by the City Council, the City Council of the
City of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to
Section 9101 of the Orange Municipal Code
should be adopted, and WHEREAS, there now exists
in the unincorporated territory of the County of Orange
certain real property hereinafter described which is designated as County of
Orange R-
4 and S-G Districts, and WHEREAS, the City
of Orange desires that the property hereinafter described be
classified as City of Orange RM-7,R-1-
7 and A-1 Districts upon completion of
annexation proceedings incorporating the territory into the City of Orange.NOW,
THEREFORE, THE CITY
COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION
I:The following described real property is hereby changed to City of
Orange RM-7, R-1-7 and A-1 Districts, said
zoning to be effective upon annexation of said real
property
to the
City of Orange. Said real property is more particularly described as follows:AREA
A A portion of Lot 6, Block C of Oge
and Bond Tract per Book 1,
Pages 44 and 45, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:BEGINNING at a point on the South line
of Collins Avenue,30 feet South of the centerline as measured at
right angles,said point being East 432.83 feet from
the East line of Annexation No. 208 to the City of
Orange, Ordinance No.5-63; thence South 220 05' 00. West 181.02
feet; thence South 250 02' 00" East 245.70 feet; thence North
370 41' 00"East 465 feet, more or less, to
right angles, said point also being on a curve concave
Southwesterly and having a radius of 560 feet; thence along
said South line and said curve Northwesterly 160 feet, more
or less, to a point on a tangent line, said point being
North 890 18' 35" East 590.85 feet from said East line of
Annexation No. 208; thence North O. 41' 35" West 10 feet to
said South line of Collins Avenue, 30 feet South of said
centerline as measured at right angles; thence South 890 18'
35" West along said South line 160 feet, more or less, to
the Point of Beginning.

A portion of Lot 7, Block C of Oge and Bond Tract per
Book 1, Pages 44 and 45, Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the West line of Prospect Street,
25 feet West of the centerline as measured at right angles,
said point being Southerly 80 feet, more or less, from the
intersection with the Westerly prolongation of the centerline
of Bond Avenue; thence Westerly along a line perpendicular
to said centerline of Prospect Street 137.30 feet, more or
less; thence Southerly 247.50 feet, more or less, along a
line parallel with said centerline; thence Easterly along a
line perpendicular to said centerline 137.30 feet to said
West line of Prospect Street; thence Northerly along said
West line 247.50 feet to the Point of Beginning.
A portion of Lot 7, Block C of Oge and Bond Tract per
Book 1, Pages 44 and 45, Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the West line of Prospect Street,
25 feet West of the centerline as measured at right angles,
said point being Southerly 327.50 feet, more or less, from
the intersection with the Westerly prolongation of the
centerline of Bond Avenue; thence Westerly along a line
perpendicular to said centerline of Prospect Street 137.30
feet; thence Southerly 273.54 feet along a line parallel
with said centerline; thence Easterly along a line
perpendicular to said centerline 139.32 feet to said West
line of Prospect Street; thence Northerly along said West
line 273.52 feet to the Point of Beginning.

BEGINNING at the most Southerly corner of Lot 17 of Tract
No. 4980 as recorded in Book 178, Pages 32 and 33 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California;

County, California; thence South 550 05' 07" West 192.12
feet to the most Southerly corner of Lot 17 of said Tract
No. 4980; thence departing from said tract, South 440 59' 05"
East 154.31 feet, more or less; thence North 240 17' 56"
East 114.40 feet, more or less; thence North 00 41' 22" East
114.85 feet, to the Point of Beginning.

Portions of Lots 8 and 9, Block F of A. B. Chapman Tract per
Book 120, Page 15, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Westerly prolongation of the
centerline of Walnut Avenue, said point being Westerly of
the centerline intersection of said Walnut Avenue and
Prospect Street (abandoned) 202.51 feet; thence
Southwesterly 1755 feet, more or less, to a point 7
feet South of the centerline prolongation of Spring Street
and 1330 feet, more or less, Westerly of the centerline of
Prospect Street; thence Northerly 1380 feet, more or less,
to a point on the North line of said Walnut Avenue, 60 feet
in width, said point also being the Southwest corner of
Annexation No. 192 to the City of Orange, Ordinance No.
43-62; thence North 890 54' 55" East 266.64 feet along
the South line of said Annexation No. 192; thence along
the East line of said Annexation No. 192 North 00 38' 14"
East 343.56 feet and North 70 32' 27" West 200 feet; thence
North 820 08' 48" East 11.50 feet to a point on a curve on
the West line of Southern Pacific Railroad, 50 feet in
width,per Book 570, Page 288 of Deeds, Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles County, California; thence departing from
said Annexation No. 192 Southeasterly along said Westerly line
of Southern Pacific Railroad and curve concave
Northeasterly and having a radius of 1035 feet through a central angle
of 170 01' 15" an arc distance of 307.46 feet to the
beginning of another curve concave Northeasterly and having a
radius of 1993.26 feet; thence through a central angle of 20 24'
58"an arc distance of 84.05 feet to a tangent line;
thence continuing along said West line of Southern Pacific
Railroad South 240 32' 05" East 267.46 feet to a point on the
South line of said Lot 8, said line also being said
prolongation of Walnut Avenue centerline; thence Easterly along
said South line and prolongation 614.15 feet to the Point
of
Beginning.
SECTION II:
This ordinance shall be pUblished once within fifteen (15)
days after its passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper of
general circulation, published and circulated in the City of
Orange, and shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after
the date of its final passage.
ADOPTED this 16th day of October 1979.
