AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE AMENDING ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE
SECTION 3225.3 IMPOSING PARKING RESTRICTIONS
UPON CERTAIN PRIVATELY-OWNED UNNAMED
STREETS,DRIVES, ROADWAYS AND ALLEYS AT FLOWER
STREET,NORTHERLY OF LA VETA
AVENUE.WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 21107.7
provides the conditions under which privately-owned and
maintained streets not generally open for public vehicular traffic may
be made subject to City of Orange traffic
regulations; and WHEREAS, on May 8, 1979, at a duly held public
hearing, the City Council found and declared that the public safety
would be promoted by limited enforcement by the Orange
Police Department of a parking prohibition on certain privately-
owned and maintained streets, drives, roadways and alleys
within the condominium complex at Flower Street, northerly of La
Veta Avenue; and WHEREAS, the owner of said
privately-owned and maintained unnamed private streets, drives,
roadways and alleys, Manana Homeowners Association, shall sign
and stripe those streets,drives, roadways and alleys where
parking shall be prohibited,NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TilE
CITY OF ORANGE
DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:Section 3225.3 of the Orange Municipal
Code is hereby amended by adding the following subsection
to read as follows:b)Vehicular parking shall be
prohibited at all times in the streets drives,
roadways and alleys of Tract No. 7540; except
in designated parking areas.Said tract being adjacent
to Flower Street and northerly
of La
Veta Avenue.SECTION II:This ordinance shall be published
once within fifteen (15)days after its passage in the Orange ,City News~
a news~aper of general circulation published and c~rculated ~n
the C~ty of Orange, and shall t~ke effect thirty (30)
days from and after the date
of its final passage,ADOPTED
