79 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 9101 OF THE
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE
RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED ON THE EAST SIDE
OF ORANGE-OLIVE ROAD, SOUTH OF

DEVELOPMENT RECITALS:After report thereon by the Planning Commission
and after due public hearings as required by law, and after
finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 4975 adopted by the
City Council the city Council of the City of Orange has concluded
that the 'following amendment to Section 9101 of the Orange
Municipal Code should
be adopted:NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:Section 9101 of the orange Municipal Code, by
which there is classified as C-l District, that
certain real property in the City of Orange, County of Orange,
State of California,hereinafter described, is amended in order to
change the zoning classification of said property to
the RM-7 District.Said property
is described as follows:All that certain land situated in
the state of California,County of
Orange, described as follows:PARCEL 1: That portion of Lot 16 of
the Fletcher Tract, as per Map recorded in Book 3, Page
320 of Miscellaneous Records,in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County,
California, described as follows:BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of
the land described in the deed to Gifford Jiles and
others, recorded December 31,1942 in Book 1171, Page 498 of
Official Records of said Orange County, said corner being on the North
line of t~e land described in the deed to Henry
O. Luchau recorded ~n Book 133, Page 19 of said
Official Recordsl thence Westerly 210.00 feet along said North line to
the Easterly line of the 80 foot wide strip of land described in
the deed to the State of California, recorded October 8,
1937 in Book 906,Page 566 of said
Official Recordsl thence southwesterly 130.00 feet along said Easterly
line to the Westerly prolongation of the South~rly line of
the land described ,in said deed to Jiles' thenc~ Easterly 245.
00 feet along sald prolongation to th~ southwest corner
of the land described in said deed to Jiles; thence Northerly
130.00 feet along the Westerly line of said land to
PARCEL 2: An easement for sewer and domestic water lines
together with the right of ingress and egress for purpose of
installing, replacing and repairing same over that portion
of Lot 16 of the Fletcher Tract, in the County of Orange
stat';l of California, as pe: Map recorded in Book 3, page' 320
of M~scellaneous Records, ~n the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, included within
a strip of land 5.00 feet in width, the Northerly and
Easterly line of which is described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of the land described in
the deed to Gifford Jiles and others recorded December 31,
1942 in Book 1171, Page 498 of Official Records of said
Orange County; thence Easterly 149.00 feet along the South
line of the land described in said deed to Jiles to the
Northwest corner of the land described in the deed to Howard
H, Luchau and others recorded December 15, 1952 in Book
2424, Page 307 of Official Records; thence Southerly 100.00
feet along the West line of the land described in last said
deed to the Southwest corner of said landl thence Easterly
150.00 feet along the Southerly line of the land described
in last said deed to the Southeast corner of said land.
SECTION II:
This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15)
days after its passage in the Orange City News, a newspaper of
general circulation, published and circulated in the City of
Orange, and shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after
the date of its final passage.
ADOPTED this 17th day of April 1979.
