ORDINANCE NO. 14-
79 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 2200(2)j OF
THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE GRANTING TilE CITY
MANAGER THE RIGHT TO ISSUE SUBPOENAS AND SUBPOENAS
DUCES TECUM FOR THE ATTENDANCE OF WITNESSES OR
TilE PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS AT ANY IIEARING
OVER WHICH THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS
AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE
PRESIDES.WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange
enacted Ordinance No. 60-78 adding Section 2200(2)j to the
Orange Municipal Code granting the City Manager the right to issue
subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum for the attendance of witnesses
or the production of documents at any hearing over which
the City Manager or his authorized representative
presides, and WHEREAS, due to a clerical error, the heading
of subject section was inadvertently
omitted, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange
wishes to correct
said error.NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:Section 2200(2)j subject heading shall be added
to the Orange Municipal Code to read
as follows:section 2200(
2)i
SECTION II:This ordinance shall be published once within
fifteen (15)days after its passage in the Orange. City News! a news~
aper of general circulation, published and c~rculated Ln the c~
ty of Orange, and shall take effect thirty (30) days from
and after the date of its
final
