CITY CI.ERK I ORDINANCE NO. 10- 79 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING SECTION 9101 OF THE ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AND APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY SITUATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF ORANGEWOOD AVENUE AND ECKHOFF STREET.Pre-Zone Change 893 PACIFIC NEWPORT PROPERTIES REcrTALS:WHEREAS, after report thereon by the Planning Commission and after due public hearings as required by law, and after finding the facts as shown by Resolution No. 4951 adopted by the City Council, the City Council of the City of Orange has concluded that the following amendment to Section 9101 of the Orange Municipal Code should be adopted, and WHEREAS, there now exists in the unincorporated territory of the County of Orange certain real property hereinafter described which is designated as County of Orange M- l District, and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:SECTION I:WHEREAS, the City of Orange desires that the property hereinafter described be classified as City of Orange M-l District upon completion of annexation proceedings incorporating the territory into the city of Orange.The following described real property is hereby changed to City of Orange M-l District, said zoning to be effective upon annexation of said real property to the City of Orange. Said real property is more particularly described as follows:All that certain land situated in the state of California,County of Orange, described as follows:That portion of the land allotted to Alfred B. Chapman in decree of partition of the Rancho santiago de Santa Ana,recorded in Book "B" of Judgments of the 17th Judicial District Court of California, in the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:Beginning at a point 999.82 feet North of the Southwest corner of the allotment of land made to Mary C. Thomas and set out in a degree of partition made on January 24, 1881 between James Garrison and Mary C. Thomas and others by the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, said point being also the Northeast corner of land conveyed by Christiana Schmitz to Samuel Parrett by deed dated March 29, 1885 and recorded in Book 152, Page 510 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, thence North 324.26 feet; thence North 890 46' 00" West 1663.20 feet; thence south 324.25 f~et,thence South 890 46' 00" East 1663.20 feet EXCEPT that portion described in the final order of condemnation No. 143799, a certified copy of which was recorded May 9 1967 in Book 8248, Page 5 of Official Records. ' ALSO EXCEPT that portion lying Westerly of the following described line: Beginning at a point in the centerline of Orangewood Avenue, described as a strip of land, 60.00 feet wide, in Parcel 105 of deed recorded in Book 7937, Page 289 of said Official Records, distant along said centerline, North 890 10' 53" West, 809.03 feet from the intersection of said centerline with the centerline of Eckhoff Street, as said intersection is described in said last mentioned deed; thence North 000 49' 07" East, 50.00 feet to a line parallel with and distant Northerly 50.00 feet, measured at right angles, from said centerline of Orangewood Avenue; thence along said parallel line, North 890 10' 53" West, 50.00 feet; thence North 670 38' 36" West, 113.45 feet to a tangent curve, concave Northeasterly, having a radius of 225.00 feet; thence along said curve Northwesterly, through an angle of 550 14 I 53., an arc distance of 216.96 feet; thence tangent to said curve, North 120 21' 43" West, 370.13 feet; thence North 140 24' 05" West 332.09 feet. SECTION II: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its passage in the Orange city News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Orange, and shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its final passage.
